Lifting an Eclipse (la banda del Me) will be performing at the Annie Wright Arts Night. Tomorrow (Saturday), 8:00 in the p.m.. As far as I understand it, it's a pay-what-you-can fundraiser for the Children's theatre. There's some acting, some music, some poetry, an art gallery, etc. The band is gonna be the closer/headliner. I promise you will like the music. Please come.

Come see Assassins at Annie Wright's Kemper Theatre.
Tomorrow (July 24, 2004) at 7:30 (doors at 7:00).
It is FREE and air conditioned.

Assassins is (really) a fantastic musical by Sondheim (regardless of spelling). It tells the stories of all the people who either successfully or unsuccessfully attempted to kill an American president. Some very funny stuff. Some very heavy stuff. Strong language and violent themes. Fun for the whole family! We're doing a "concert reading" of it, which essentially means that everyone has scripts and such, and it's not a full production so far as costumes and sets. However, all the script and music will be presented in their entirety, and (considering we only had one week to put it all together) I really think it's worth seeing. Especially for the price and cool air.
